CHER LLOYD- SWAGGER JAGGER

It has been nearly a whole year since petite 16 year old Cher Lloyd presented herself on ITV’s X Factor singing Kerri Hilson’s version of ‘Turn My Swag On’. From this point on, everyone knew that she had something different to offer.

Now 17, Cher has released the video for her debut song ‘Swagger Jagger’ 5 days ago on YouTube which has already generated over 1.7 million hits. Signed to Syco Music, the release of her new song on the 31st July and her first LP in November, Miss Lloyd will be having a busy year.
So, her song, what do you think?... I’m still in speculation.

The upbeat vibe of this dancey tune and cleverly choreographed video is so eye catching that you don’t know where to look. The song does get stuck in your head but is that a good or bad thing? There has already been a hype that Cher is receiving a high percentage of ‘dislike’s on YouTube pages. But focusing on the clothing and the type of people featured in the video, there are Ghetro. Her style is slightly magnified and in your face Ghetro style but we feel she should be mentioned.

Featuring Scrabble rings, flat caps, one buttoned shirts, in your face lipstick and bold bling, there’s a few tips and ideas that will get your Ghetro tail wagging. The song is supposed to enlighten all the haters and spread the message of ‘ I dont care what you think im doing me’ kind of message which is a good signal. Go out be brave, bold and bright and show the world who you really are.
