Not so Umbro!


Established in 1924, Wilmslow Greater Manchester is a well recognised sports brand that is now a part of Nike. Umbro had strong competitors such as Adidas, Puma and Reebok which later saw the decline of Umbro products and the brand.

2011 has brought a new vibe to Umbro with the representative of 1350, this shows the reinvention of the brand and how they’ve taken it to a modern and edgy twist with the use of tattoos and individual styles from their clothing models all carrying a passion for sports or are a sportsmen  themselves. A retro theme is present amongst their new promotional material which revitalises and gives you the rebirth of New York Cosmos (American Soccer Club based in New York) The return of the Cosmos presents the new range of attire that is provided and represents the togetherness of culture, community and captures the excitement the Cosmos are bringing to the 21st Century.
